Welcome to the Michigan State University Canadian Studies Center blog!

The Center’s mission is to provide learning, research and outreach opportunities related to all aspects of Canada and its role in the world. The Center addresses the U.S. and Canada connection as well as the interaction Canada has across the globe. The Center’s mission is derived from the university’s land-grant ethic. Areas of study include anthropology, American studies, business, economics, English, fisheries and wildlife, food science, geography, history, labor and industrial relations, law and international government, marketing and supply chain management, parks, recreation and tourism, resource development, romance languages, social sciences as well as teacher education. The Canadian Studies Center is among the study programs held within International Studies and Programs.

This blog is to help form a dialogue between the center and anyone interested in learning more about what we do.  Feel free to comment on or suggest anything you might like to read more about.  Be sure to check out our facebook and twitter pages for more updates from our office about things both on and off MSU’s campus!
